One of their most popular and well-known product lines is the Uwell Caliburn devices that have been best sellers one after the other. The Uwell Caliburn line encompasses the following devices:

  • Uwell Caliburn Kit.
  • Uwell Caliburn Koko Kit
  • Uwell Caliburn G Kit
  • Uwell Koko Prime

Uwell Caliburn Kit

Uwell’s first pod vape was the Uwell Caliburn pod. Even though it’s been on the market for quite some time, the Uwell Caliburn Kit remains in high demand.

Let’s have a look at the specs of Uwells first pod vape:

  • Battery Capacity of 520mAh
  • Maximum Battery Wattage of 11W
  • 2ml Pod Capacity
  • Activated Firing

For a first-time user, the purchase of a Uwell Caliburn seems like somewhat of a no-brainer. However, there are a few things to take into consideration when shopping for your next pod vape.

Caliburn: Pro’s

The Uwell Caliburn Pods make use of Pro-FOCS flavor technology, giving you ultimate flavour and a softer, more pleasant draw. Coupled with its excellent build quality the Uwell Caliburn has stayed in high demand since its release. The build keeps the device light and transportable, easily able to fit into any bag or pocket on the go.

This device comes with two draw options, you can either press the fire button or just draw straight from the mouthpiece. The latter option is a great transition for those who are making the transition from fire-button vaping devices.

The battery life on the Uwell Caliburn is very decent. Since each draw requires very little battery, you can expect about 3 refills per charging session.

Caliburn: Con’s

Since the pods on the Caliburn are not replaceable, you cannot change the Uwell Caliburn coils. This is by far the biggest letdown of the device. Once the coils have completely burnt out you have to replace the entire pod.

For any enthusiast that prefers a tight MTL draw, this is not the choice for you. The Uwell Caliburn kit has a loose draw, without being airy.

Uwell Caliburn Koko Kit

A follow-up on the original Caliburn kit, Uwell’s Caliburn Koko Kit sports a completely different look, feel, and experience.

With the Uwell Caliburn Koko Kit, the following specifications stand out:

  • Battery Capacity of 520 mAh
  • Maximum Battery Wattage of 11W
  • Refillable Pods
  • Aluminum Alloy Build
  • Draw Activated
  • Compatibility with Caliburn Pods

Whilst the Uwell Caliburn Koko Kit packs quite the punch with its specs, it’s important to delve a little deeper into the pros and cons of the device.

Caliburn Koko Kit: Pros

One of the best features of the Caliburn Koko Kit is its lightweight build. Simple, transportable, and user-friendly, this little pod comes with the great build quality and can fit in any pocket. The new pods in the Koko Kit fit very securely and also allow ejuice viewing without having to remove the pod.

For any enthusiast that prefers a loser draw, the Koko Kit gives a great MTL draw that will keep you satisfied without being too airy.

Caliburn Koko Kit: Cons

Since the Koko Kit gives the user a loose draw, this is not the device of choice for anybody looking for a tighter draw.

Whilst the look and feel of the Caliburn Koko Kit is new and improved, overall it’s just not that different from the original Caliburn Kit. If you already own the Caliburn Kit, you won’t find much difference between it and the Koko Kit. If that is the case, rather upgrade with a different Uwell device.

Uwell Caliburn G Kit

At first glance, the Uwell Caliburn G Kit looks nearly identical to its predecessor the original Caliburn Kit. However, upon closer examination, you’ll get a good look at the following specs:

  • Replaceable Coils
  • Aluminum Alloy Build
  • Battery Capacity of 690 mAh
  • Maximum Battery Wattage of 18W
  • Mesh Coil Resistance: 0.8 ohm

Whilst the size and weight remain almost the same, the Uwell Caliburn G Kit sports a ridged exterior to help give your vape a bit more of a grip. Breaking it down, the improvements in the Uwell Caliburn G Kit are, overall, a good fit. For the more technical vapers, we have broken this vape down into our favorite pros and our not-so-favorite cons.

G Kit: Pro’s

The best improvement from the Caliburn is that the Caliburn G Kit has replaceable coils. Gone are the days where the entire pod must be replaced if a Uwell Caliburn coil happens to burn out.

Unlike the previous model, the Uwell Caliburn G Kit offers two airflow modes, to suit the preference of either a tight or loose draw enthusiast.

Another reason to cheer for the Caliburn G Kit is its battery life. With a full charge in around 45 minutes, you can go through about 1 and a half pods before having to recharge.

G Kit: Con’s

Despite all the lavish improvements, the overall vape output weakens as the battery runs lower. This means that this device doesn’t give you the constant vaping effect that many might seek out when shopping for a new device.

The change in the mouthpiece from the original Caliburn to the G kit might take some getting used to if you’re upgrading. However, if you are a newbie, there’s not much adjusting to do on this front.

Uwell Caliburn Koko Prime

The Uwell Koko Prime comes as the new and improved original Koko Kit. With a new series of replaceable coils, a 2ml e-liquid capacity, and a battery wattage of 15 W, there is little not to love.

Have a look at the Uwell Koko Prime specs:

  • Aluminum Alloy Build
  • 2.0ml Refillable Pods
  • Battery Capacity of  690mAh
  • Maximum Battery Wattage or 15W
  • Draw Activated
  • Uses Caliburn G Pods & Coils

Pretty similar in look and feel, the Koko Prime differs only slightly in design to its predecessor. Even though it is a few millimeters thicker than the original, it is still lightweight with a portable and storable design.

Koko Prime: Pro’s

You can get the best of both worlds with the choice between a loose or tight draw, all depending on how you insert the pod. That means that no matter your draw preference, the Uwell Koko Prime will suit it.

The battery life is exceptional on the Koko Prime. With a full charge in around 40 minutes, you can strive to vape a pod and a half before you will need to recharge.

The new replaceable coils that come with the Uwell Koko Prime also ensure that you get the best flavour hits possible. If you are in the market for the best flavour power, then this is the device you should go for.

Koko Prime: Con’s

It’s tricky to find cons for the Uwell Koko Prime. If anything the fill cap can be somewhat tricky to remove when it comes time to refill.
